Delete your account
How to delete your account and your household's information.
Last updated 17 October 2026
How to delete it
Open Settings, then your account, then delete. You are asked to type DELETE to confirm. This is immediate and cannot be undone.
What is removed
- Your household: people, events, tasks, lists, bills, notes, addresses, photos and everything else you added.
- Your subscription, which is cancelled so you are not charged again.
- Connections to Google, Microsoft, Apple and WhatsApp, and the permissions we held for them.
- Your wall display link, push notification tokens, family sign-in code and PINs.
- Your account itself.
Things you removed along the way
Things you remove day to day (tasks, events and so on) go to the Bin for 7 days first, then are removed. That is separate from deleting the whole account.
What is kept, and for how long
- Stripe keeps its own payment and invoice records because the law requires it. We do not control those.
- Safety copies and server backups at our hosting provider are replaced on a regular cycle, so deleted information leaves them over a limited period. They are not used for anything else.
- Messages you sent us through the contact page are kept as long as needed to answer them.
Getting a copy of your information first
In Settings, choose Download a copy of your data. You get one file with everything in your household. Keep it somewhere safe: it includes your household code.
Asking us to delete it for you
If you cannot sign in, use the contact page and choose "Privacy or deleting my data". We will check it is you, then do it. A subscription that has ended does not delete anything by itself; deleting is always your choice.
